MOTHERHOOD AS MENTALHOOD

Parenting can feel like a lonely journey sometimes , even when you know so many others have been in the same shoes before. Motherhood synonym are Parenthood or Mothership. Motherhood is a state of being a mother or experience of having or raising a child. It's the ultimate roller coaster of joy and sorrow, comfort and fear, love and hate, fast and slow, past and future.

Merely focusing on giving birth to a child from your own body doesn't reflect a symbolism of Motherhood. Anyone can give you a bed to sleep or provide you a meal....agree? Just having people under your care is not only what makes a mother!!

Instead true meaning of Motherhood is................... A Mother is someone who cares and nurtures children with deepest love to raise them as a decent humanbeing. A Mother is a coach, trainer, cheerleader as well as fan of her children all the time.  A Mother has to deal and face lot of problems while bringing up her children. From balancing between love and disciplining, or it is related to their Nutrition, Bullying, Gender roles, Trust, Bad and Good touch, Art of saying No to her children etc.... The real life Mothers have their own parenting journeys from difficult challenges to the joyful moments that make modern day Motherhood as Mentalhood.

A Mother can be a Stay at home mom who aims to break the idea that moms who don't have a nine to five job have it easy. As well as Mother can be a Working mom who is expected to balance between her personal and professional life without skipping a beat. A Mother can be a Adoptive mother, Biological mother, Putative mother, Step mother or a Single mother. A Mother may vary based on social, cultural and religious roles.

But, BEYOND THE POINT ......A mother always want her children to go and change the world. Her journey is confused between should or would.  She might not be having all the answers but has to pursue by following all the questions. She has to manage her responsibility everyday without fail.
